Let´s welcome the “Ignite the Stoke Tee” to the growing Cold Origins Collection! This is a big milestone for our Crew, since it is the first self-printed product of our collection!
Let´s dive a bit into the history of this shirt:
In 2022, so 3 years after creating the Cold Origins Idea, Lukas bought a screen-printing machine and started perfecting his printing skills. After dozens of print prototypes, he is now ready to pursue our vision of creating our completely self-printed collection with organic-cotton!
The “Ignite the Stoke Tee” was in fact also completely designed by Lukas. Does it have a higher meaning you might ask yourself: Well, not really. But does art always have to make sense? At least we can explain one word: Stoke. I just hopped over to ChatGPT to check the general consent about this word is and I think that these two definitions nailed it quite well:
Verb: To stir up, encourage, or intensify. For example, “She tried to stoke his enthusiasm for the project.”
Noun: In surfing, a stoke refers to the feeling of excitement, enthusiasm, and joy experienced while riding waves.
Speaking as a Kitesurfer, stoke is the fire ignited inside of us when the wind hammers, we pump up the kite and are trying to push for new boundaries. This feeling of stoke expresses the highest possible combination of Dopamine, Adrenaline and Serotonin and makes you go beyond your limits, lets you surf in 0 degree and land new tricks.
So, in this context: We are stoked to present you our first Tee!
